DeepTrace Media Interviews Collins Nwude, CTO/COO of Nexa Nurse, Ahead of Nurse Career Growth Summit 2026

DeepTrace Media recently spoke with Collins Nwude, CTO/COO of Nexa Nurse, ahead of the upcoming Nurse Career Growth Summit 2026, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 29 August 2026, in Ikeja, Lagos.

DeepTrace Media:
Mr. Collins, thank you for speaking with DeepTrace Media.

Collins Nwude:
Thank you for having me.

DeepTrace Media:
What is the main objective of the Nurse Career Growth Summit 2026?

Collins Nwude:
The main objective is to introduce nurses to new opportunities within the evolving healthcare industry, particularly opportunities that can provide them with alternative streams of income.

Nursing is no longer limited to working in hospitals. Technology is creating new ways for nurses to offer their professional services, reach more people and earn additional income. We want nurses to understand and take advantage of these opportunities.

DeepTrace Media:
The theme of the summit is “Expanding Nursing Careers Through Digital Healthcare and Alternative Income Opportunities.” Why did you choose this theme?

Collins Nwude:
My CEO, Mr. Ogorchukwu Otunji, is a highly proactive and innovative thinker. He looks beyond conventional approaches and is always thinking about new possibilities. I am privileged to be able to align with his vision and contribute to bringing those ideas to life.

He chose this theme because he believes the future of nursing must go beyond the traditional career path.

Today, digital healthcare is creating opportunities for nurses to participate in home healthcare, telehealth, digital health platforms, healthcare education and other technology-driven services.

The message is simple: a nursing qualification should not limit a nurse to one career path; it can be the foundation for multiple professional and income opportunities.

DeepTrace Media:
How does Nexa Nurse fit into this?

Collins Nwude:
Nexa Nurse connects people who need healthcare services with verified nurses and care assistants.

We are also seeing a growing preference for people to receive certain healthcare services in the comfort of their homes rather than always going to a hospital. This makes home healthcare increasingly important.

Through Nexa Nurse, customers can book qualified healthcare professionals for care services at home, while nurses can use the platform to access additional opportunities and earn income from their professional skills.

DeepTrace Media:
So, would you say Nexa Nurse is addressing two problems at the same time?

Collins Nwude:
Absolutely.

We are addressing the growing demand for convenient, home-based healthcare, while also creating opportunities for nurses to generate additional income.

It is a win-win situation: patients receive care in the comfort of their homes, while nurses have more opportunities to practice, serve and earn.

DeepTrace Media:
What do you hope nurses will take away from the Summit?

Collins Nwude:
We want nurses to leave with a broader understanding of what is possible with their profession.

We want them to see that their nursing qualification can open doors beyond traditional employment. Through digital healthcare platforms like Nexa Nurse, they can explore additional income opportunities while continuing to provide valuable healthcare services.

DeepTrace Media:
Why should nurses attend the Summit on 29 August?

Collins Nwude:
Because healthcare is changing, and nurses need to be part of that change.

The Nurse Career Growth Summit 2026 is an opportunity to learn, network and discover new ways to grow professionally and financially.

We are inviting nurses to come and explore how digital healthcare and alternative income opportunities can shape the next chapter of their careers.

DeepTrace Media:
Collins Nwude, CTO/COO of Nexa Nurse, thank you for speaking with us.

Collins Nwude:
Thank you. I appreciate the opportunity, and I look forward to welcoming nurses and healthcare professionals to the Nurse Career Growth Summit 2026 in Ikeja on Saturday, 29 August 2026.
