A candidate for the Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Nafiu Kangiwa, has dismissed reports that he has withdrawn from the 2027 election race under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He said politics should be based on ideas, vision, and public confidence rather than misinformation and attempts to damage the reputation of political opponents.
Kangiwa reaffirmed his commitment to contesting the Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the ADC in the 2027 General Elections.
He urged the people of the constituency, his supporters, and the general public to disregard any report claiming that he had withdrawn from the race.
He further assured his supporters that his aspiration remained intact and that he would continue to follow the party’s guidelines and applicable electoral regulations ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Rumour will not replace the truth,” Kangiwa said.
